THE MARPU FOUNDATION

MARPU is a synonym of transformation. It was established by the respected National Youth Awardee, Mr. Kadiri Raghu Vamsi, popularly known as the Environment Man. The Marpu Foundation is a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through sustainable development initiatives. With a focus on education, healthcare, and livelihood enhancement, the foundation has a proven track record of transforming lives and creating opportunities for marginalized sections of society. Their grassroots approach ensures that the benefits of their programs reach those who need them the most. It also earned the title of “THE BEST NGO in India” in the year 2020.The NGO has over 10,245,120+ beneficiaries and 80,261+ volunteers operating from 39 locations in 15 states spread all over the country.

It was founded in 2009 by a group of like-minded individuals who were concerned about the growing gap between the rich and the poor. The foundation's mission is to promote sustainable development by addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality.

SDG2 -ZERO HUNGER : Marpu Foundation tackles hunger by ensuring food security. Their goal is to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture. They provide food and nutrition education, and work to ensure that all people have access to adequate food.

SDG3 -GOOD HEALTH AND WELL- BEING: The foundation is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people in need, and it does so by supporting a variety of programs that address the underlying causes of poverty. These programs include education, healthcare, and community development, care for senior citizens and distribution of essential items to poor and backward children.

SDG4- QUALITY EDUCATION: Quality education is a fundamental human right and a key factor in achieving sustainable development. The Marpu Foundation provides quality education to underprivileged children in India.
